Well, I’m back at it. Blogging tends to suit me well, as I usually have more thoughts in my head than I care to think, and my opinions are far and wide, delving into both the relevant and the random.

I’m one of those people that loves starting projects but never really finishes them. I’m good at culminating ideas into a vision, but finishing it? Don’t hold your breath. It’s interesting that I choose to start this now, as part of a New Year’s Resolution to keep in contact with people as I phase out of my college life, into the “Real World.”

ps, who gave this so called “Real World” a title, and made it feel high and mighty? Maybe it wouldn’t be such a big deal if people didn’t make it so.

So anyway, I’m back at sharing my thoughts with the vastness of cyberspace. I mean, what is blogging anyway?

According to Dave Taylor, an entrepreneur and cyber blogging connoisseur,
“In terms of why people blog, well, my belief is that it’s to have a voice, however small. To think that just like the people who write those fancy opinion columns for The New York Times and the Wall Street Journal, you too can share your thoughts, vent, and complain to the public at large. Having said that, there are lots of really smart bloggers who have interesting perspectives on the news, politics, sports, business, etc., people who wouldn’t otherwise be heard in mainstream media.”

Well, Michele Norris, voice of NPR, once told me at a conference that I have a voice meant for broadcasting, so why not reinvent the wheel and simply share my thoughts via the net?

ps, since when is it only 121 days until the big day? where did the time go?

For any poor soul hitting the “Next Blog” button and randomly stumbling across this lump of letters and punctuation, I apologize in advance for the randomosity that are my ramblings. I’ll give you a few hints to maintain your sanity while reading my thoughts:

*I tend to ps a lot. Intermittent thoughts I have to say at the moment, or they’ll slip my mind. I can’t wait more than a minute, or I’ll forget it. In a way, like my kindergartners who feel that every question they ask teeters on the edge of life and death.

*I overanalyze. I’m wordy. And I like it.

*I tend to end posts/discussions/random verbal assaults on the universe with phrases that in a way, summarize my day. Don’t try too hard to understand them. It’s more just for karmic humor.

*I don’t apologize for my views, so honestly, you either love me or you hate me. Eh, you can’t win ‘em all.

*If I go a vast amount of time without updating, I’ll naturally assume you know everything that has happened during my absence, so please, do not become offended when I talk as if you should understand everything.

“You.” What a funny concept on the internet. :)
I merely thought I would extend the courtesy of explaining myself.

Though, when beginning any sort of public announcement on one’s innermost thoughts, please do remember good ol’ Walt.

Do I contradict myself?
Very well then I contradict myself.
(I am large, I contain multitudes.)
